THRIVE in 2025

Previously, I shared my word of the year: THRIVE.
For me, 2025 isn’t about just getting by— it’s about stepping into my full potential, taking bold but strategic risks, and embracing everything that makes me ME.
It’s time to move beyond survival mode and truly thrive.
I had to take some time to really sit with it and create a tangible set of action steps so that I knew exactly what I needed to do in order to THRIVE in 2025. It took longer than I wanted it to, but now I'm clear!
When I say that I want to THRIVE in 2025, this is what I mean:
Take Calculated Risks: The comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there. Growth happens outside the comfort zone. This year, I’m committing to smart, intentional leaps forward. I'm doing it afraid - whatever "it" may be.
Harness My Strengths: Anxiety has a way of reminding me of all my flaws and shortcomings, but it can also be used to help me strategize and redirect my focus on what I do best. I've learned that I am passionate about coaching and training (and I'm good at it!).
Reach for Expert Guidance: I'm in new territory here. For 25 years, I've put my all into being a therapist and clinical leader. As I transition, I need to rely on folks with expertise in the areas I'm looking to grow. I've had to assemble a team of expert truth-tellers who can hold me accountable and push me to expertise as a consultant, coach, and trainer.
Invest in Myself: I am my greatest asset, and I am determined, this year, to be more intentional with investing in myself. I am determined to set better boundaries with my time and energy to be the best ME I can be.
Value Authenticity: I’m showing up fully and unapologetically as my true self. I have varied interests. I'm good at a lot of different things. I am a speaker, a course facilitator, a coach, a consultant, a leader, and a learner .. and I'm bringing ALL of those parts of me out front and center!
Embody Confidence: This one, I believe, is my most significant game-changer! As a therapist, my training taught me to focus on the client, be fairly invisible, and not talk too much about myself. In this season, as a coach and consultant, if I don't talk about my skills and successes, how will my potential clients know that working with me is the solution to their problem? No more playing small. I will champion my awesomeness and step into every room, knowing I belong there.
Consider this your invitation to join me on this journey.
Let's make 2025 the year we thrive in business and life.
